When I served in Afghanistan, the field hospital at Camp Bastion was full of troops from NATO countries. The camp was literally run by the Brits. They fought in places like Sangin, where much of the heaviest fighting in Helmand took place.

Trump saying our allies "stayed a little back, a little off the front lines" is more than embarrassing words. It's total BS and its an insult to our allies and all of us who were there.
