Government of Kerala encourages sanitation workers to enroll in the program through newspaper advertisements to ensure they can benefit from the scheme. 🗞️
These measures aim to improve the lives and working conditions of these essential workers.

Awareness Program on National Accreditation Board For Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and Environmental Sustainability in Dindigul 🌍

On 26th December 2024, @QualityCouncil and Dindigul Chamber of Commerce (DCC) organized an insightful awareness program on NABL accreditation and its benefits at the Dindigul Chamber of Commerce, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu.

Dr. @akwashi1 , Executive Director of @wash_institute, delivered a special address on "Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene: Key to District Wealth." 🌱💧

He specifically highlighted the presence of #mercury pollutants in #Kodaikanal and the contamination of #Dindigul town with #tannin and #chromium.

Dr. Kalimuthu underscored the vital role of effective #sanitation and #wastewater treatment systems in enhancing the district's overall #health, #environmental #sustainability, and #economic #growth.

successfully organized impactful activities across various locations to celebrate World Toilet Day 2024.

Key highlights from the day include:

🎭 Skits performed by students and community members, highlighting the importance of toilets.

🚶‍♂️ Organised rallies that brought together thousands of citizens to spread the message of the significance of using toilets.

On this #WorldToiletDay, we are proud to share an incredible milestone that @wash_institute has achieved by providing access to #clean and #safe toilets to over 2 lakh #students and #Anganwadi #children in 766 schools and 284 Anganwadis across 10 States.

In addition, we have trained Child Cabinet members and School Management Committees to ensure the effective #management of these vital #toilet facilities.

Access to improved child, gender and disabled friendly toilets not only impacted #health and #hygiene but has also empowered students specially #girls to stay in schools and pursue their dreams.
