Infant Rawda Abu Zarqa is suffering from a serious and rapidly deteriorating medical condition, with doctors suspecting a rare inherited metabolic disorder. She has an enlarged liver, severe growth failure, difficulty feeding, recurrent episodes of dangerously low blood sugar, and markedly elevated lactate and liver enzyme levels.
Doctors say she urgently needs to travel abroad for specialized genetic and enzyme testing to reach an accurate diagnosis and begin appropriate treatment, as these specialized services are unavailable in Gaza.
Every delay could put her life at further risk. She urgently needs to be transferred for specialized medical care before it is too late.

NEW | More Than 9,000 People Remain Buried Beneath the Rubble

Dr. Munir al-Barsh, Director General of Gaza's Ministry of Health, said more than 9,000 Palestinians remain missing beneath the rubble across the Gaza Strip, adding that many have yet to receive a dignified burial.

Al-Barsh said the ministry continues to demand the return of the bodies of Dr. Adnan Al-Barsh and Dr. Iyad Al-Rantisi, who died under torture in Israeli occupation prisons.

He added that "the tragedy in Gaza is no longer measured by the number of martyrs, but by the number of families erased from the civil registry and homes transformed into mass graves."

Al-Barsh also said Israeli occupation attacks have continued despite the declared ceasefire, and more than 20 Palestinians were killed over the past 48 hours.

He described hearing the cries of people trapped beneath the rubble without the means to rescue them, as evidence of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
