@SciImmunology@MarcelaMaus@s_aldubayan@Mark_Leick Congrats to the authors, great study.
PTPN22 carriers: highest expansion in both cohorts, zero grade 3+ CRS - yet expansion is an independent toxicity predictor in your model. Power, or true uncoupling?
@StephenCMeyer Fascinating that the ribosome became THE bottleneck of the OoL field. It cracked membranes, minimal genomes, feeding, even division but ribosome self-biogenesis is the wall. You can't build one without one. Every "synthetic cell" still runs on borrowed E. coli ribosomes.
@DrAnasYounes Remarkable engineering - but let's read the actual paper first. Still a preprint (reportedly bounced from Cell), still hand-fed ribosomes, held at 86°F to divide once every ~12h. "Most of the hallmarks of life" ≠ life. Can't wait for the real thing. @StephenCMeyer, your take?
@qrsupport@qatarairways Update: For those following this post — Qatar Airways’ private messages gave the same generic replies as the call center. Still no explanation, no timelines, and no resolution. As of today, I have filed an official complaint with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
