In July 2021 Russia launched a Multipurpose Laboratory Module, "Nauka" (Science) to ISS. Its development was accompanied by difficulties, postponements, and yet the module successfully flew to the ISS and docked after 20 years of development.
The Judas statue is a myth; current historical consensus is that the Danish diplomat who is the original source of this claim heard a telephone game rumor about the burial of Janis Judins, a commander of the Latvian Riflemen, that took place in the city and at the time when the Bolsheviks allegedly put up the Judas monument.
The Bolsheviks did, however, put up a monument to Robespierre in Moscow in 1918. It collapsed three days later, and it is still unclear whether it was demolished by locals or fell apart on its own.
@QuetzalPhoenix reading the first arc of Berserk is so frustrating because we could have had the coolest, most beautiful medieval gothic historical adventure fiction of all time but the dude was too hung up on making it as horrible as possible
Turns out when you write your fantasy as an inversion of a "chosen one" story, make the world specifically lack a merciful God, & actively populate it with demons-
it is very hard to write a satisfying ending!
Game of Thrones syndrome.
t. Read the first part of Berserk.
if you prefer 99 after watching both, you are a braindead r*tarded idiot with no taste
it's saner to believe that 99tards never watched the shows, but like complete idiots publicly judge them by select screenshots and clips, thinking that's a truthfull representation
The term "Bronze Age," although coined by Hesiod 400 years after the Trojan War, began to be used in a scientific sense in the 18th century AD. In this regard, I remembered a passage from the "Odyssey" that I hadn't understood before watching the film.
The Odyssey review (not mine). Three fundamental problems:
1. Odysseus is miscast: normie Damon is not a dashing and resourceful commander
2. The main character's guilt for crimes during the war is the mindset of a modern commoner, not an ancient aristocrat.
Odysseus realizes that they were the barbarians destroying the old world. Although by that time the migration of peoples had ended, and Odysseus's great-great-grandfathers, without the slightest hesitation, exterminated the Greek populations of Mycenaean and Cretan cultures.
