@PrideOfDetroit I'm liking the tone of the offseason but I hope the players still have fun. The SNF Packers game was business but the way they played and introductions still showed they had a ton of fun as players
@erikschlitt Thanks for answering!
One last question about Miller, how high would you have drafted him with no trading involved? For the lions, do you think he would have been a top 10 pick for them?
@PrideOfDetroit Seeing this makes me so thankful for Sheila's patience with Holmes and Campbell. Imagine she fired them before that dolphins game 3 years ago
The #Falcons are firing GM Terry Fontenot, triggering big-time changes after a challenging season in Atlanta, per The Insiders.
First Raheem Morris, now Fontenot.
@PrideOfDetroit I think everyone that we've invested in (big money wise) has played well. The only one that may have not lived up to expectations is Kerby. That's a good sign for our core moving ahead
Dan Campbell had his choice of candidates to replace Ben Johnson in one of the most coveted offensive coordinator roles in football. He instead opted for an unproven but familiar hire.
He also could have pursued a proven defensive coordinator, with established relationships with Lou Anarumo and Dennis Allen, but again chose a familiar, unproven option.
Campbell remains one of the best head coaches in football—but those decisions tell the story of the Lions’ failed 2025 season.
They’ll need to evolve this offseason.
@PrideOfDetroit Looking ahead to the Packers, what will the Lions start scheming up and practice on the Giants to get them ready for the big game on #NationalDetroitLionsDay#FavoriteHoliday where families gather around a table, eat turkey, and watch the Lions play some football ;)
@DetroitOnLion And that wind was a factor! I'm in the mindset that if they had gotten another touchdown they would have gone for 2. If it weren't for the penalty, we might have seen an attempt after the first TD
