@TracyWesterman “We need alcohol restrictions & cashless welfare cards”
How else to solve the issues? Yes they are tied to geographical locations. Within that location, colour blind. Last I looked Kalgoorlie is not an aboriginal community. Neither is Laverton.
What’s an effective alternative?
@dalfonso@KosSamaras And here you are: an Aussie. It’s not the first generation that makes the difference, it’s the second. My English/Irish descended folks thought spaghetti was exotic. I grew up thinking it was normal food.
@PeterRobins350@BasilZempilas He might get a leave of absence. Perfectly legal, done once he declares his candidacy. If he doesn’t get elected into parliament, he goes back to mayor. If he goes get elected he resigns as mayor. That works. 💡
@beneltham And yet you wonder why there is a rental housing shortage. This is exactly the reason. Although most tenants are ok, all it takes is one that costs thousands to remove and repair damage. That’s when landlords shift to Air BnB, do short term or sell up and invest elsewhere.
@RositaDaz48 When kids are safer on the streets raising hell in their communities than they are at home, no matter the heritage, so much work has to be done. A Royal Commission & audit is a must.
@dieselwillin@MFWitches Agreed. The Yes case was pure emotion. They told people to “find out” if they didn’t know and they did. People really do want to know how things will work. Telling them to trust politicians to work out details later backfired.
@crikey_news Pfffft. Albo & the Yes campaign lost their own referendum. More of an “own goal”. Dutton had nothing much to do with it. Stop trying to shift the blame.
