As kids, we learned by watching.
Watching our parents.
Watching our teachers.
Watching our friends.
And as adults?
We still learn best by watching others.
Here’s the thing:
I didn’t learn how to land clients by reading endless theory.
Courses helped, sure. But nothing compared to observing successful people.
I remember one creator in particular.
I stumbled across his content on X, and he had this way of writing posts that just drew me in.
I noticed how he engaged with his audience.
How he structured his offers.
Even how he followed up with people who didn’t buy immediately.
So, I started doing the same.
I signed up for newsletters.
Joined waitlists.
Studied every email and post he sent out.
I didn’t just scroll—I observed.
From the tiny details, like the way he phrased a hook…
To the bigger picture, like how he positioned a $5K offer.
Every little thing mattered.
And it stuck with me.
Even now, I still do this.
I follow creators whose results I admire.
Watch their funnels and sign up for their programs.
Sometimes free, sometimes paid.
Just to see how they operate.
Then I take what I learn, apply it, and innovate on top of it.
That’s how I collapsed my learning curve.
Not by consuming more content…
But by observing in real time and applying what I saw.
So, here’s my thought:
If you want to grow fast…
Don’t just guess or copy.
Watch from the inside.
Learn the nuances.
Apply.
Innovate.

Commit to one framework, not endless ideas.
Test it.

They’re the side effect.
Most beginners obsess over:
• Likes
• Followers
• Impressions
But numbers don’t build leverage.
Direction does.
When you’re clear on:
→ Who you help?
→ What problem you solve?
→ Why pick YOU?
The numbers follow naturally.
Stop chasing metrics.
Start building meaning.
Clarity compounds faster than growth hacks.
𝗘𝗴𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵.
Most people chase:
→ Validation
→ Recognition
→ “Proof” they’re better
But ego doesn’t scale.
Curiosity does.
Discipline does.
Action does.
Check your ego at the door.
Focus on getting better, and engaging with others in discussions.
Not just being seen.
Growth follows quietly.
Best when it’s fun and shared with others.

Writing to sound smart.
Sharing cool ideas they just learned.
Explaining concepts.
Chasing clever takes.
But people don’t remember information.
They remember insight.
They remember:

→ Strong opinions

Write so someone can recall your post hours later.
If it can’t be remembered,
it won’t be acted on.
Memorability beats cleverness. Every time.

@b_winzer Love this analogy! Many get distracted by the “shiny” stuff instead of focusing on what actually drives results.
