@hbtCHIEFS DL or OL in round one. Our biggest two problems: we don't get pressure via the D-Line and Mahomes is getting killed. RB is problem #3. We have guys who can catch decent passes, but if Mahomes has to throw with constant pressure in his face, won't matter who is catching.
@adignan@PranavSriraman I've been wondering if it would be harder for KC to fill the OC position rather than the HC for that reason. The OC has to be interested, able, and invested in basically being an assistant OC who supports the process but doesn't run the process. How many of those are out there?
@Moose31683@daily_hoosier The whistle came after the O-linemen arrived and pushed him forward. There is no audible whistle when he was initially stopped. Watch it again.
@daily_hoosier Maybe the runner was not going to break away, but he never stopped moving forward as he eventually goes down (way ahead of the spot and further ahead of the spot at the time of the whistle even). Just poor officiating?
@daily_hoosier I've been wondering if the college rule is different from the NFL rule regarding pushing the runner forward. The runner was not stopped and the ball was moving forward and it even looked like the runner might yet break away. I wondered why the ref blew the play dead.
@coremonster29@CollegeFBonX Most yards is an important stat but can be misleading. Mendoza was killing some of their opponents so badly that he sat out entire quarters and even at least one entire half. Thus, yards per play would probably be a better comparison.
