White plus red and blue garden flowers too, for a conviction politician who loved our country. Cats for a cat lover. A candle lit, prayers said for Ann, and for all coming to terms with the shocking manner of her death. The Nunc Dimittis sung. Lord now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace. RIP Ann Widdecombe.
There are places that never fail to amaze me no matter how many times I visit.
The door at St. Mary and St. David, Kilpeck, Herefordshire is almost 900 years old and displays the tree of life, beakheads and beasts. The jambs are alive with twisted serpents and warriors.
I just popped over the road to get some more eggs and I saw that my friend had put a huge water bowl out the front for wildlife…
so I’m going to do the same tonight…
Can I ask all of you to put a saucer or a large plant pot saucer or shallow bowl of water out for any animals that need it tonight, please?… ♥️♥️
Absolutely School Uniforms should stay. They are the leveller. Kids don’t need another way to fail, another route to mockery. Surviving adolescence is trial enough.
After 146 years in business, Russell & Bromley has closed its last two stores in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Myself and the team have been working flat out on Espresso Martini for 3 weeks since she got poisoned and lost all power in her body. I have to say I started doubting.
I was wrong. Look at her at the end here. She’s UP again!!!

The “Clammy Death” hood that belonged to Lt Ian Fraser. He commanded HM Midget Submarine XE-3 in Operation Struggle - an attack on the Japanese cruiser Takao in the Johore Straits, Singapore, in July 1945. Both he & his diver James Magennis were awarded the Victoria Cross. #WW2
“Omg you’re back I was so worried I love you you’re my best friend don’t ever leave me again I love you so much”
Let me explain:
I’ve spent A LOT of time at home just me and my best (canine) mate, my dog, due to illness.
And he’s a happy, confident, loveable dog with a great temperament.
But if I get up to go to the toilet, he’s like “where you going, when you coming back?”
And when I return he’s so happy it’s like Christmas Day every-single-time
Be kind to dogs 🐶
If I ever win the lottery I don't want a huge mansion just a cosy spot far from crowds and with a view of the sea.
At the end of the day I just need a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge.
More important is peace and the sea.
Sienna is out In the fields of Wales.
I took her on many walks here in Thailand when she was recovering and never saw this level of joy.
She knows she is home ❤️
To the London black cab driver who found me bloodied in the chaos of central London and drove me all the way to Reading: thank you.
Thank you for cleaning my face. For the sugary tea at the BP garage. For delivering me safely to my friend's front door and refusing to charge me a single penny.
In the trauma of that day, I never asked your name. I don’t think I even thanked you properly, and I am so sorry for that. But I hope you know that I remember you every single year.
You were a hero when London needed one most.
