Meeko just really, really loves a good snow day. ❄
While playing in the snow and taking a dip in a pond may sound too chilly for us, North American river otters have thick, protective fur to help them keep warm!

Such a great way to kick off #AZA2023! This morning’s session with Dr. Kathy Sullivan was also so inspiring. As she said. “Learning and discovery is intrinsically fun.” So let’s keep exploring, let kids explore, spark their curiosity.

This morning was the first General Session of the #AZA2023 Annual Conference! Thank you to Dr. J Drew Lanham for sharing your incredible story and helping to inspire us all to collaborate and pursue this new conservation ethic.

What is tall, has a purple tongue, and can eat 70-80 pounds of food in a day? A reticulated giraffe! 🥬
Giraffe love spending time at Giraffe Platform crunching on lettuce, but the lettuce is just a nice treat on top of the nutritional food their Zoo Keepers give them daily.

Excited to launch #transform23 and get some virtual learning in on this snowy day. Thanks ⁦@TammyZonker⁩ and all the sponsors for making the free day of education possible!

[Amy Lazoff, CFRE @alazoff]

@tclaybuck Yup - I also remember combing through the peddler’s post, a physical paper in town, to buy super cheap things or pick up free stuff if you had a friend with a truck. If you were lucky, you got hand me downs from an aunt or grandmother!

@1977Diva We were there - it was great!

I saw passion, grace, and forgiveness. As someone who is my own worst critic, and doing a bit of self-reflection, I suppose I need to remind myself that words two and three can also be directed inward.

@HumanityCritic 🙋‍♀️ Our teacher was so excited to watch it with us.
