@paullewismoney V worrying that this self styled radical new govt rules out replacing 2 very bad taxes. Starmer failed because he was afraid to do anything radical and it looks as if things may be the same with Burnham.
@British_Airways You must be living in a parallel world if you think BA Customer Relations respond to emails. I am still waiting for a reply to a 30/6 email , also from 9/7. Don't patronise me by thanking me for my patience. That ran out long ago.
@British_Airways are a nightmare. Bounced us off an overbooked flight we had booked months previously and now dragging their feet over compensation. Customer services don't respond to emails.
Next flight yesterday no online check in so huge Q at airport. Shambles!
@British_Airways Unfortunately your customer relations team don't answer my emails so still waiting for compensation for 8 hour delay after being bounced off prebooked flight (despite being in my 80s and my wife in late 70s)
@seatsixtyone EES is a shambles. Just told entering Prague airport from London that system shows I never left Slovenia last month. V unhappy Czech entry agent, v slow to process me.

Good to see @thameswater using our money well:
"Thames Water also revealed it had paid £57m during the six-month period in fees for advisers on the process such as bankers, lawyers and public relations consultants." (@guardian )

No child should know what a food bank is, let alone need one.
Ask your MP to write to the Chancellor to remove the two-child limit now 👉 https://t.co/lFxIMAi611
If we're not free to think for ourselves, to challenge ideas/ideologies/religion, or to choose/change our own beliefs, then we are not free at all. Freedom of religion or belief sits at the very heart of who we are as human beings.

@profchrisham The trouble is that there is no way that this Labour government will fund the very sensible measures that you recommend because of the stupid "no extra taxes on working people" pledge in their election manifesto. The NHS, social care and we service users will coninue to suffer
