Cannot be done domestically where we are doun hauden by a state that says it can make up law as it goes along. Nothing we do here at home - nothing magically no matter if we have 2 million of 3 million voters declaring their sovereignty, will achieve a thing. (It didn't in 1949 when 2 million signed a petitiojn for home rule and were ignored.)
Asserting that sovereignty is what we're doing at the UN where its recognition will enable a vote and UDI. After that, we just have to enroll Scots in asserting it with a vote, a convention to declare indy and constitutional resumption!

As soon as we are recognised as having the right to external self-determination UDI becomes realistic - no ‘contested status’ at the UN but rather automatic recognition. In fact it’s hard to see how any declaration of independence would be possible except by unilateral declaration. It’s only a question of establishing our real status according to international law and of demolishing the U.K.’s much repeated claim to territorial integrity as a lawful unitary state. (What a crock that is!)
