Brandon Valenzuela needs to stay on the roster when Alejandro Kirk returns.
I really don't care about "asset management" talk. The #BlueJays need to win as many baseball games as possible and Valenzuela clearly gives them the best chance to do that.
The hypocrisy of this award is on full display on two fronts:
1. If it's a point scoring award (which is basically has been for the past 20 years), not including Bouchard here is a massive snub. In that timeframe the points leader won 11 times, second won it 4 times, and the remaining times (V. Hedman (5th), D. Doughty (9th), D. Keith (6th), Z. Chára (12th), N. Lidström (5th)) closed out the remainder. I haven't checked but I would bet the leader was a finalist in all those cases.
2. If in fact it's a defensive award now, not including Moritz Seider is a snub of epic proportions. He is far and away the best defensive defenseman in the league.
One has to question how the conclusions of the voters were drawn, it's not a bad list, but I'm not sure I can call it fair when the guy that led all of these guys by 14 points isn't even a finalist.
Sergei Zubov with 89 points (12G, 77A) in 78 games for the 1993-94 New York Rangers. Ray Bourque, Scott Stevens, Al MacInnis were the finalists; Bourque won (Zubov finished 4th in voting)
What's the record for most points by a defenceman while not even getting nominated for the Norris because Evan Bouchard had *95*. Before you ask, also led defencemen in even strength points at 60.
I'm not saying the guys nominated are wrong, just pointing out how wild that is.
The streamer world is way too oversaturated with dogshit braindead dudebros as is to let a piece of shit like this get away with this. Time to print out some resumes fuckboi.

Whit, Nate initiates both the contact with Nurse and Ingram. Add that Ingram had to leave and the degree of violence of the impact of a goaltender in his crease that’s the correct call.
Ok everybody I agree it’s time we all sit down and have the Bouchard for Norris conversation. It’s becoming undeniable, and if you vehemently disagree with even considering the possibility. You don’t watch enough Edmonton Oilers games.
Lethbridge is a city that feels like it hasn't changed much in the last 30 years. I am sure the locals would differ with me. On that though.
It's a nice city but has always had a rough edge. Used to be a couple bars in these closed buildings I patronized long ago. They had cheap beer but you wanted to sit with your back to the wall.

It was an Iranian misfired missile, you dumb cunts. How does American media consistently share propaganda from Hamas, Iran, places where there is zero free press at all? It’s malpractice.
WATCH: Mike Commodore on the Barn Burner podcast says that Wayne Gretzky wanted to motivate Team Canada before the Olympic gold medal game, but was told by Hockey Canada CEO Katherine Henderson that he was "not welcome" in the dressing room.
Hockey Canada denies the allegation.
“I don’t need a break, or a fresh start. I just want to be in Edmonton, playing hockey. I want to get back there again, whatever it takes. If that sounds like a robot, then I guess I’m a robot.”
