Nothing in Uganda fucking works!!
Kids died in bus accidents and we moved on so fast and now unexplained deaths in universities and all these fools can say is that "we are doing our best". Well clearly your "best" isn't enough.
And to some idiots this is normal.
It's not!!!
What we need right now is far from your irrelevant condolences. Serious institutions would've already given a report instead of relying on speculation!!
You're all a bunch of failures.
A student dies on campus and nothing???? How??
Not even footage??
Dr. Kizza Besigye - an icon of our struggle, a pillar of resilience, and a true elder of the Ugandan liberation movement.
For decades, Dr. Besigye has consistently chosen conviction over comfort. He has remained steadfast and completely unyielding in the face of brutal persecution, multiple unlawful detentions, and constant threats to his life.
The Museveni regime continues to harass and torment him in the hope that they will break his spirit. Yet, through it all, he continues to stand firm - his spirit unbroken.
While we can never repay him for his enduring leadership and refusal to bow to tyranny, we can stand with him in his hour of need. I am grateful to our friends who have launched this solidarity campaign to raise funds for his welfare and mounting legal costs while he and his colleagues continue to languish in jail.
I encourage all of us to be part of this effort. Let us contribute whatever we can to support this cause. My wife @BarbieItungoK and I are making a modest contribution of UGX 5,000,000.
By standing together during these challenging times, we send a clear message to the regime: they can jail our bodies, but they can never jail our solidarity. Their attempts to throw us into disarray will not yield. Together, we shall overcome.
When the people of Uganda are finally FULLY empowered, their freedom will come very quickly and it will not be easy to take away.
Our Country will flourish.
Our intelligent young men and women will finally live up to their full potential!
It is only a matter of time.
When they came for Besigye, Bagonza kept quiet. Ahhh, it is Besigye, not me. After all, I work for Odrek Rwabwogo. I am safe. When they came for Lukwago, he kept quiet. When they came for Sam Mugumya, he kept quiet. When they came for several NUP supporters, he kept quiet. When they came for Kakwenza, he kept quiet.
Each time they came for somebody, Bagonza checked himself and discovered, with relief, that he was still free. The knock was on another man's door. The basement had another man's name. The boots were kicking another man's ribs. So life continued.
Then they came for Bagonza. And cannibal Muhoozi, whom he thought was his own, displayed his half-naked body to the world like a hunter exhibiting the day's catch: “We have this one. Learning Kiswahili.” Imagine that. Yesterday you were safe because you knew the people who owned the boots. Today you are the one in the basement, and the owner of the boots is displaying you on X.
There is something Ugandans must learn from Bagonza's predicament. Injustice does not become injustice when it finally reaches you. It was already injustice when it happened to Besigye and Alhaj Lutale. It was injustice when it happened to Lukwago. It was injustice when it happened to Sam Mugumya. It was injustice when NUP supporters were taken. It was injustice when they came for Kakwenza, Opiyo, Eron Kizza, Bireete, Matembe etc.
The crocodile does not become dangerous merely because it has finally reached your canoe. Ugandans, it does not matter who you are, what position you hold, whom you work for, whose telephone number you possess, or how confidently you dine near power. When you see injustice being done to another person, fight for that person as though it were you lying in that basement. Fight as though it were your brother, your sister, your child.
Do not wait for the knock on your own door before discovering your voice. By then, you may scream for help and discover that everybody else learned silence from you.

Mukulu, first read the law out loud to your master before running your mouth about "rule of law". First take the plank out of your eye first don't you think?? Damn hypocrite!!

Office of the General Secretary PLU
Uganda is full of brilliant young people. I met many of them when I was studying at Saint Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK).
At SMACK we were taught to be God fearing, to have integrity, to be responsible, to accept diversity, and to have the determination and courage to take on the challenges of life.
But to make it in Uganda today, you need one of three things: the right family, the favor of government officials, or a plane ticket out.
In a New Uganda, my old boys at SMACK will not have to choose between their talent and their integrity. There will be room for both.
I know this and they know it too.

Today, we mark exactly six years since we unveiled the National Unity Platform (NUP)—the political wing of the People Power movement. What a journey it has been! A journey of sacrifice, pain, and triumphs.
When we set out, may detractors said we wouldn't last a month. They called us hooligans and lumpens. They branded us a passing wave that would never amount to anything. They dismissed us and unleashed all manner of propaganda against us.
But we did not give up or give in. Today, we still stand as a potent, resilient anti-dictatorship force known world over for standing for the rights and dignity of every citizen.
We celebrate this milestone under heavy hearts, remembering our comrades who are still languishing in illegal detention, those who have been tortured, and those who have paid the ultimate price for a free Uganda. We shall never forget their sacrifice.
To the regime: our spirits have not been and will not be crushed by the extreme repression!
To the people of Uganda: do not lose hope. The setbacks we have encountered are mere phases in an intergenerational struggle. We will complete this mission.
Thank you to our leadership team, our diaspora chapters, and every Ugandan standing firm at the grassroots. The journey may be long, but freedom is inevitable.
Happy 6th Anniversary, NUP! ✊🏾🇺🇬
We’ve received disturbing reports alleging that Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi was tortured to near death at Kasenyi SFC military barracks and is now being hidden from the public while receiving treatment before he can be produced.
These reports cannot be dismissed lightly. Many of us have gone through similar ordeals at the hands of this regime and were deliberately hidden from the public until our wounds and the evidence of torture had faded.
While the regime keeps the country distracted with endless diversions, it’s now 10 days since our Deputy President of the Buganda region was abducted in broad daylight and since then, he has never been seen again.
Neither the police nor the army have accounted for his whereabouts.
Where is Hon Muwanga Kivumbi ?
These documents, publicized under America's public disclosure laws, reveal that the Museveni regime is busy hiring foreign agents in Washington DC to white wash its battered image before the world. According to the documents, the regime is executing agreements with American lobbyists to engage American legislators, NGOs, the media, and others on its behalf. But it's too late because the truth about Uganda is already out and absolutely nothing the regime does can buy it back!
Ofcourse you easily heard the part of "dictatorship" and forgot about "benevolent". Either it's because you don't know the meaning or you're not a good listener.
I long for the day Ugandans are mentally free enough to stand up to this bullying.
Once we are mentally liberated, our physical liberation will follow. We are already on our way there.
A people who refuse to accept oppression in their minds cannot be ruled by force for long.
We deserve better, and this moment will not wait for us. We cannot let it pass us by!
Look at what they are building! A family dynasty run by the most unqualified people. They have stopped even pretending to serve the people. They take everything for themselves and dare us to object.
You think staying silent keeps you safe? You think fighting us keeps you safe? It does not.
You are weak.
The day is coming when the gun is pressed to your head, when it is your body being dragged into a dirty white van, when it is your children asking where you went!
The van comes for the quiet ones too. Your fear, your weakness, is not protection from it. It is an invitation.
The strong eat the weak.
It is time for Ugandans to realize that they hold the true strength.
“I saw Katikiiro of Buganda requesting us not to arrest people who advocate for hate speech, but does he know how dangerous hate speech is. Hate speech has caused problems in Rwanda before, Katikiiro has always said that Buganda is not only for Baganda and Kabaka is not for only Baganda. We are fighting this because we all know what kills is not the gun nor spear but the tongue”

It's a great privilege because your stomach is full, your kids go to good schools, you don't pay for fuel and you live in a bungalow. Go and visit Tororo where you represent. Stop opening your trap without lived experience.
Living in Uganda in this error is a great privilege. Thank His Excellency @KagutaMuseveni and @mkainerugaba for this opportunity to see our countrymen anywhere in the world know we got their back, it used to be in some advanced countries that you hear of such. Thumbs up and welcome back our family. Uganda is blessed with fertile soils, for modern agriculture, all of you can get absorbed, however we call upon those with expertise to gain momentum and service this country, those with good capital can get into manufacturing and different business opportunities and add more jobs to our big population. Tororo North has Land to be offered for any development..
