Després de la conquesta franquista de Catalunya, el Barça va passar de la paràlisi absoluta per la guerra a una reorganització controlada pel règim.

Primer es va crear una comissió gestora, que donaria lloc a una "depuración del FC Barcelona como norma general establecida para todas las entidades deportivas". Tots els clubs esportius havien de ser depurats per assegurar l'adhesió al règim de tots els càrrecs i treballadors. En el cas del Barça, la depuració duraria mesos.

El club més ràpid en ser depurat va ser l'Espanyol, que trigaria només quatre setmanes. El motiu? "El limpio historial del club blanquiazul y la patriótica labor llevada a cabo en todo momento por sus directivos y afiliados […] ha permitido llevar a cabo fácilmente la depuración de la entidad" (Noticiero Universal).

És curiós que es faci la Reunió de Líders Progressistes a Barcelona i es parli d'autodeterminació, llibertat, sobirania i dignitat dels pobles, tenint en compte que precisament això és el que Espanya es nega a aplicar a Catalunya.

La presidenta de Mèxic, @Claudiashein, té molt clar que aquests són els principis a seguir, per això, ha demanat tantes vegades que l'Estat colonial espanyol parli de la veritat històrica de la colonització.

Tot i això, sempre sembla que aquests principis es volen aplicar a tot el món, però casualment s'obliden de Catalunya.

This wasn’t the fault of the universities.

By the mid-1980s, broken money started to disproportionately reward certain careers - primarily financial services - which raised the opportunity cost of pursuing any other type of career to a previously unimaginable degree.

Now turning down that Wall St. job to pursue a PhD or write a great novel wasn’t a matter of taking a 20-30% pay cut, but a >95% pay cut. Investment banks and hedge funds became the proverbial offer a low-born genius couldn’t refuse.

In a hard-money economy you have to change the world to get rich. In the world the fiat-boomers created, you just had to find some central bank-born fiat arbitrage to latch onto and suck dry and you could summer in the Hamptons.

The GFC didn’t happen because the ivies didn’t find and educate geniuses - it happened because they did. And then Goldman Sachs recruited them as summer interns where they built an “infallible” valuation model for mortgage-backed securities. And the rest is history, as it were.

The one exception to this rule - where you had to actually make something useful to get rich, but where the reward potential matched or exceeded being a paper-pushing fiat zombie - has been tech, which is where essentially all GDP growth in the last 40 years has occurred.
