When Reyn accepted a night-shift job at a remote weather station in the mountains, he was told the previous technician had resigned unexpectedly.
His duties were simple: monitor temperatures, record wind speeds and send reports every six hours.
On his fourth night, the radio crackled at exactly 2:13 a.m.
A man's voice came through.
"Reyn, stop recording the weather. Check the storage room."
He froze.
Nobody at the station knew he worked nights.
