Hoosiers, help me welcome the Chicago Bears to our great state!
We look forward to building a partnership as strong as the '85 Bears defense, creating opportunities and economic growth that will benefit our state and the Bears organization for decades to come.
An NFL franchise in Northwest Indiana will be an economic boost to the entire region like we haven’t seen before.
Thank you to Speaker Huston, the legislature, and Mayor McDermott for their partnership. I also want to thank the entire Chicago Bears organization for their partnership and commitment in making this move a reality.
Welcome to Indiana!
As grocery prices continue to rise nationally, the House passed an appropriations bill that would cut $141 million in funding for a program that helps pregnant women and children purchase healthy foods. https://t.co/NJ8vGuBc0P
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

There is a neighborhood subdivision in Greenwood, Indiana called University Park with hundreds (yes, hundreds) of trucking companies owned by Sikh Indians. These Sikhs are now shooting and killing each other in gang related (Lawrence Bishnoi Gang) violence over trucking disputes.

BREAKING: State Sen. Chris Garten is stepping down from his post as Indiana Senate Majority Leader.
He said serving as Floor Leader “requires seamless alignment with the current strategic direction of leadership - an alignment I no longer maintain.”
His decision to step down comes as several observers have floated him as a potential challenger to Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray.
Leadership re-election occurs in November after the general election.
It usually goes to whoever has a support of the majority of the Republican caucus, although Democrats also have a say.

Richard Gere on Trump: “We’re living in the darkest moment that I’ve experienced on this planet. Whoever thought America could turn like this? Whoever thought that a maniac like this would be president and dismantle all the good things? America’s never been a perfect place, but it has a perfect ideal. First day this guy dismantled almost everything that was good about the US government and people”
