Pronase IF critical in Light Chain Proximal Tubulopathy. Routine IF completely negative, but pronase IF shows kappa light chains with crystalline shapes. LM showed ATN. I would have missed the LCPT diagnosis if I did not perform pronase IF. 55-yr woman with CKD and abnormal FLC.
