Nigel Farage's Clacton constituency has around 98K people. About 78K are registered to vote, around 45K voted, and just over 21K voted for him.

Clacton is one of the oldest and least ethnically diverse constituencies in England and Wales, with 96.1% of residents identifying as white.

It is also one of the poorest areas in the UK, with around 64% of the constituency considered "impoverished"

This is why he thinks it is a safe seat for Farage because Instead of addressing years of underinvestment and communities being left behind he can just blame immigrants for people's struggles and says he's not part of the establishment and he's on their side.
