@whatevenis209 i hope AI will forever be super obvious to the human eye. i'm honestly a little afraid at how fast its been developing... i feel like we're heading towards an AI vs humanity kind of future and am deeply afraid of humanity losing (sorry for yapping LMAO)
@whatevenis209 i personally don't like the trend of people using generative AI to answer questions, especially in a creative writing class like this. though this is a multimedia class, i think AI should only be used as a tool for artistic purposes (like in our video projects) but not for canvas
@AileenLim1004 the topic itself means a lot to me, and your anti-lecture tackles this in a refreshing way. it's like a fight against the oppressive societal norms. your visuals were also very engaging and made me super hungry haha
@AileenLim1004 i loved the contrast of the narration topic with the videos of eating. seeing the (delicious) food makes the methods (morning banana, skipping meals, kpop diet) look/sound more extreme or outrageous than they already are.
@jherb214 the video game clips override the anatomy images and the brainrot terms seep into the narration feel like the struggle a student feels when paying attention in class. the video game clips are also used to farm attention in media algorithms
@adnanahmed209 this wasn't really the focus of the video at all, but the contrasting video and audio gave me a morning self-care vibe. a good stretch routine with a cup of coffee sounds like an essential morning to me.
@adnanahmed209 this is a great anti-lecture! learning about different ways to make coffee was captivating and relaxing over the visuals of people stretching and the beautiful music accompanying it. It made me think of morning routines and how people do things in order to ensure a good day.
@simplystephany2 replicating* senses, sorry. but your project IS replicating senses by having us watch these people dip their fries in sauces and bite into delicious fast food that’s familiar to all of us. awesome!!!!
@simplystephany2 GOD this made me so hungry. I love how the audio talks about sensations after deep diving into neuralink, which indirectly connects the video to the audio. in a way, watching the video made me feel like i was eating mcdonald’s, which connects to neuralink simulating sensations
@thefigtr3e slightly off topic, but the veggietales clip’s “brightness” (in mood) reminded me a lot of the show Moral Orel. the religious despair you’re feeling in your story along with a lighthearted funny clip provides a very similar atmosphere that you can see throughout the show
@thefigtr3e i love your project! i think you did an awesome job with the visuals and your narration was super captivating. the implementation of the veggietales clip provided a really funny contrast with the horror of the situation at the CCD debate and your realization afterwards
