Independent maritime intelligence on Russia's naval and commercial fleets. Providing strategic insights, movement tracking, and predictive OSINT reporting.
I asked a local councillor if the russian refinery here in Ireland should be sanctioned.
He said yes, if it was supplying Israel.
But Russia? No.
This is Ireland’s sanctions hypocrisy in 90 seconds.
A Chinese port engineering firm and an Algerian maritime engineering company signed an MoU to explore a Sino-Algerian joint venture 🇨🇳🇩🇿. The venture would focus on dredging, periodic port maintenance, and related infrastructure projects across Algeria.

Every sign at this refinery in Ireland is in russian. The official website is a .RU domain.
There’s no reason to hide it because local politicians are openly doing it for them.

Daily #DarkFleet tanker 🚩: 🇦🇿 ZANGAZUR (IMO 9420617) is currently sailing in the mediterranean sea.
Behind this vessel it is not just a one-ship box, but a state-linked structure, one private and one state owned compagnies. (See the attached image)
Four tankers from this Azerbaijani network operate outside the Caspian : ZANGAZUR, SHUSHA, KARABAKH and KHANKENDI.
All four have been targeted by sanctions linked to Russian oil transport.
IMO : Correct me if i'm wrong but first time i see this kind of state endorsed darkfleet profile (except Russia of course)
@RFNOSBlog@kattyfun1
The Azerbaijani crude oil tanker ZANGAZUR is currently anchored at Aliaga Anchorage.
Also at anchor is the Russian vessel KAPITAN YAKOVLEV, operated by Northern Shipping, a company whose vessels have occasionally appeared in discussions around unusual maritime activity.
Probably just a coincidence in a busy anchorage, but it's an interesting detail worth noting and following over the next few days to see if any patterns emerge. @kattyfun1@SONARROW_OSINT@CeciliaSykala@DonnetJules@TiaFarris10@TankerTrackers@key2med
The current position of MAXIMA is at North Sea. The vessel is en route to SEKUB KUBIKENBORG. The vessel MAXIMA(IMO 9882061, MMSI 246539000) is a General Cargo Ship sailing under the flag of Netherlands.
A factual point for context: Russian Arc7 LNG carriers are highly specialized ice-class vessels designed to operate in Arctic conditions, including year-round service along the Northern Sea Route. Their primary role is to transport LNG from Arctic projects such as Yamal LNG and Arctic LNG developments. Maintenance and repair visits to foreign shipyards are a normal part of operating complex vessels in demanding environments and do not, by themselves, indicate any unusual activity.
Oppure, in una versione più sintetica e tipica da OSINT/X:
Context: Arc7 LNG carriers are purpose-built Arctic icebreaking gas carriers designed for year-round LNG transport from Russia's Arctic projects via the Northern Sea Route. Shipyard visits for maintenance or repairs are routine for vessels operating in harsh ice conditions and should not be interpreted as unusual without additional evidence.
@RFNOSBlog Excellent analysis, Ghana's ties with russian companies is obvious, with that said its flag 🇬🇭 is still very clean !
From my experience i never saw a darkfleet tanker sailing with ghana's flag.
Maybe Ghana will be one day the new Cameroon ?
.@HMSPWLS currently alongside in 🇳🇴Stavanger, making repairs before heading out on Arctic Sentry duties.
Arctic Sentry is a NATO initiative to increase the alliance's operational presence and situational awareness in the Arctic and High North.

Every day, ships leave this russian owned factory in Ireland straight for St Petersburg carrying thousands of tonnes of raw alumina for the war machine.
There’s corruption everywhere. Locals tell me politicians are bought by oligarchs.
Ireland is no longer militarily neutral.
Russian flag bulker Zaid, carrying stolen wheat from occupied Sevastopol remains in İskenderun anchorage. Turkey does not accept vessels directly sailing from occupied ports of Crimea: Zaid should be denied entry to any Turkish port. Map via @MarineTraffic
