Chief Minister, during his visit to Ganderbal, disbursed Education Assistance to the wards of registered labourers under the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, reaffirming the government’s commitment to support the children of deserving families.

On the demand of labourers, the Chief Minister also directed for extension in the last date for submitting applications for Education Assistance up-to 15 December.

Chief Minister, as Chairman of the J&K Building & Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board, has sanctioned and released ₹30.14 crore to all Assistant Labour Commissioners for direct online transfer to the eligible beneficiaries under key Welfare Schemes, including education support, disability assistance, chronic illness aid, assistance for NOKs of deceased labourers, marriage support, and meritorious awards.
