So I assume with their complete silence that every single Senate Republican is totally fine with Leader John Thune shipping them all home for another 19-day taxpayer-funded vacation?
Executive orders piling up with no codification.
Trump’s nominees still rotting in limbo.
The SAVE Act and real election integrity laws? Collecting dust.
And we still haven’t defunded the Taliban. I guess Senate GOP is fine with taxpayers sending $40M per week. No biggie, right?
Not a single one of them had the spine to stand up and demand Thune keep the Senate in session? Not one?
What a pathetic, useless Senate GOP we have. The same crew that spent the last four years being completely ineffective while Democrats passed their radical agenda and torched the country. Now, with full Republican control of the White House and Senate and a clear mandate from President Trump, they’re right back to their favorite hobby: doing nothing, collecting a fat paycheck, and heading home early.
The American people didn’t hand Republicans power so they could take extended vacations and punt on the agenda. They elected them to deliver.
This recycled incompetence is unacceptable.

Now they can call, live stream town halls, or interact through any of the social media platforms.

They no longer need to be physically present, but they do need to be accessible.
