@HydroHammond Without an archive you could train on a reanalysis dataset, but then you have the usual problems with train vs predict data coming from different sources with different systematic errors

@mouthofmorrison @DescartesLabs @upstream_tech Interestingly weather forecasts are also inputs to our streamflow forecasts, and are often more important than land surface satellite observations.

(Btw we forecast river flows - water - it’s just that many of our customers make electricity with that water)
