I cannot believe that our government is advising Ukrainian refugees to apply for a visa online or go to Paris to get one, making them wait weeks in Calais. Incredible lack of compassion and empathy. Boris & Priti should look to Poland and learn. Makes me angry 😡

On Friday 15th May 2020 at 1 pm we held a minute’s silence on our ward (and throughout our hospital) in memory of those who died from Covid - little did we know that the PM & friends were enjoying a garden party that same afternoon.

NHS staff are required to test regularly for Covid-19 using lateral flow devices. And yet, many are struggling to obtain tests because of the increase in demand for them from the public. We need tests to be supplied directly to the NHS for distribution to clinical staff.
