@kaleidoscopeapp@catlan@monkeydom@flo_muc I learned this from @xscopeapp - same thing - people complain that the app is too expensive. And buy cheap alternatives that disappear in a few years because the other developer finally realizes it's not worth it.
Pay well for your tools. Don't be cheap with your time.
@kaleidoscopeapp But I'm not worried about past expenditures. I have a tool that I use every day AND RELY ON TO GET WORK DONE.
That's worth a lot more than a penny a day. Hell, even if they decided to charge me another $150 next year, that's still less than 50¢ a day. Peanuts.
A new version of @kaleidoscopeapp is now available.
I’ve been beta testing it for the past couple of months and it’s great. Stuff I rely on remains reliable and new things don’t get in the way. A smooth transition.

Now, let’s talk about that price…
I realize that App Review is a hard and thankless job, but when a blind developer is rejected for an update that helps his blind customers, it’s time to pull your fucking head out of your ass. https://t.co/xZrmlJ5NQe
#fuckapple, a thread
I cofounded @fanhouseapp 8 months ago to empower creators to monetize their content. We pay creators 90% of earnings. Now, Apple is threatening to remove Fanhouse from the app store unless we give them 30% of creator earnings. This is theft and exploitation.

#JavaScript tip for today:
When "console-logging" several variables, you can wrap them in curly brackets to better see which value belongs to which variable.
A small thing, but hey.
Tech culture often treats “data vs. opinion” as the only two ways to make decisions. Between the two is an undervalued third option: expertise. It’s dismissed as opinion, but is based on years of accumulated data from lived experience & comparable situations.
