I'm not sure who needs to hear it, but these people aren't idiots. They're incredibly smart and capable. They weren't doing economically dumb things.

Here it is: Twitter engineers were told today to *print out* their last 30 to 60 days of code, so they could show it to Elon Musk himself.
Then they were told wait, no, actually, please shred all that code you just printed out.

@djcapelis It’s not the engagement algorithms that are driving me away, it’s the stated commitment (whether he understands or not) to making it a (worse) haven for misinformation, trolls, and nazis. I’ve flipped tables repeatedly on this site anyway, I’m kinda done.
