Misinformation is REAL. It comes with serious consequences. It's good that you have quickly retracted your tweet maligning not only Dr. Gorden Moyo but All those well meaning gentleman in that photo with HE and the Speaker. You even unnecessarily maligned people of Matebeleland whom you Also owe an Apology! Be reminded that Fact Checking is a Hallmark of Journalism!
The responses of both the Town Clerk and the Mayor @DavidColtart are not convincing at Law. In short, the @CityofBulawayo is defying implementing a properly gazzetted Government Statutory Instrument in a move which is benefitting a Private Player in this case TTI instead of Motorists, Businesses and Residents of Bulawayo.! Both the @MoLGPWZim and @ZimTreasury must come clean on this. These Statutory Instruments were gazzetted for the Ease of Doing Business and it's both surprising and puzzling why a Local Authority will oppose this reduction which benefits local residents and businesses. There is more to this TTI Parking deal which sees a Local Authority defying Central Government! Leaving No One AND No Place Behind @byopra@AlbertMavunga@basera_john@UcazOfficial
@BemanyaT As long as much of Africa views IP with a narrow Legal Perspective. It will take a long time for IP to be seen as a Driver of Innovation on the Continent! The sooner African leaders realise this, the better!
Well said SG Mbalula. The African National Congress @MYANC must never take its eyes off the ball. As the mother Liberation Movement on the continent, the ANC owes it to All Africans to achieve not only Political Independence but Economic Independence AS WELL. Forces of destabilization are All over and NEVER REST! Long Live Total African Liberation! @Sophie_Mokoena@Julius_S_Malema@MbalulaFikile@ChinamasaPA@KMarazanye
WATCH] On behalf of the African National Congress, I want to state that we a country of over 60 million. There are many people who come to our country and many come to our country to contribute to the wealth of our country and its progress. Many contribute positively in our country. There are people in our country who have taken it upon themselves to do things which the vast majority do not condone and this must not paint South Africans as xenophobic.
Indeed we do have a challenge of illegal immigration in South Africa and it’s not a problem unique to South Africa. There are many country’s affected by this. South Africa is a signatory of the Geneva Convention and we must deal with this challenge within the perimeters of the law. We can’t deal with it with hatred. That is why government has adopted a program of action to deal with this particular challenge which the President has made a public announcement.
We have called for law enforcement and calmness and follow the government’s Action Plan on dealing with illegal immigration. We have made it very clear as the ANC, we cannot and should not be associated with anything that amounts to hate crimes. In this particular instance the majority of South Africans are people of Ubuntu and humanity. Because we too would not be free without the solidarity and assistance of country’s such as Mozambique in the fight against apartheid. Many people sacrificed such as Samora Machel the President of Mozambique and many combatants died here fighting against apartheid.

I agree, It's painful to witness what is happening in SA. It's also regrettable that a Liberation stalwart like Zuma is stalking Xenophobia and in a way supporting Vigilantism. The ANC has to stand up and confront these challenges. We are All Africans and we must Love One Another!
Growing up as a Conscious Youth, Groups like Misty In Roots played songs like these as an inspiration for South Africans to defeat Apertheid and All of Africa rallied for its eventual Liberation. All of Africa stood by Black South Africans. Africa still stands with South Africa despite the challenges! #FairPlay
@Sharmarkei@osasuo@CAF_Online@FIFAcom Very True. All the current challenges were long for seen, the questions are What did FiFA do? What did CAF do? It exposes the hypocrites in the leadership positions of these organisations. #FairPlay
It’s clear that the FIFA mantra of Fair Play and that of Politics Not Mixing with sport is selectively applied. All self respecting Africans must realize that what the USA is doing is tantamount to saying it does not care about any rules and it makes its own. So African teams at the World Cup are participating according to what the Americans want and Not FIFA. Will they withdraw, I doubt there is no leadership @CAF_Online #FairPlay
