@chenchenzh The thing I'm most personally worried about is increasing push toward entry restrictions at various spatial scales - locked doors, limited ways to get into/out of buildings, increased compound format in residential development, etc. This was already happening, but accelerated.

A small observation on the academic genre of the conference paper: there is something about its relative ephemerality (unless later published, but still) and its ability to deliberately address those in the room and those not in the room that makes it easy to be weaponized.

@MargWhittlemoth I built a syllabus based in large part on one by @jessaloomis , but after teaching with a textbook later I kind of feel like there were things I missed being able to do. Maybe having more textbook experience before ditching it would make this a non-issue though?
