@SerdaMaciej There is an option using the PearkinElmener Signals ELN (usually included in the ChemOffice package) not only allows you to extract ChemDraw schemes from a Word document but also from all files in a directory. I moved from PC to Mac on the last year of my PhD, no problem at all
The other day I had a reaction that stalled at 20% after 24h. I had a hunch that the reaction was not degassed properly, bubbled nitrogen for 15 minutes and got the reaction going again.
One of the hardest things to explain as a chemist to a non-chemist is that you get a good gut feeling for how long certain reactions will take on new combinations of reactants, so you can guess how long to let them go for before you analyze them or work them up
It is great when you can play with new equipment, isn't?
Today I was able to use an IR probe to monitor in situ my reaction. I felt like a kid with a new toy.

Which recent article have you read that you find remarkable? Mine is this by @MacMillan_Lab where they dive into the use of first-row transition metals for their use as photocatalysts.
