Portfolio update (from largest to smallest position) ๐
I sold my entire previous portfolio because I moved to another country, and the shares were not transferable from the tax-free account where they were held in custody.
The new portfolio started on April 10, 2025.
Overall return: 48% (~8 months) โ
1) 34% $HOOD -> 126% ROI
2) 28% $NBIS -> 10% ROI
3) 26% $NVDA -> 66% ROI
4) 12% $AMZN -> -1% ROI
Thoughts for 2025:
- Increase my position in $AMZN and start positions in $GOOGL and $META. These are safe long-term plays while riding the AI supercycle. Iโd love to concentrate heavily on these three, but that depends on the valuation.
- $SOFI and $GRAB look like very interesting plays. I would start a position depending on execution and valuation.
- $NBIS is a really interesting, poorly understood play that will likely start moving fast and institutional money will flow into the stock.
- I aim for an overall portfolio of no more than 8 stocks. As Druckenmiller says: โPut your eggs in one basket and watch the basket really carefully.โ
๐ธ2024 is over. It has been an incredible year and the market has shown it $SPY. Here's how my portfolio performed in 2024:
โ Overall Return: +128.27% in 4 months (I got back in the market on September 1st)
Holdings:
- Palantir Technologies Inc $PLTR @ $30.60
Position: 53% of total portfolio
Return: 148%
- Tesla Inc $TSLA @ $218.20
Position: 28% of total portfolio
Return: 85%
- Rocket Lab USA Inc $RKLB @ 21.88 (a bit expensive but high conviction play)
Position: 19% of total portfolio
Return: 17%
Really concentrated but I only invest in high conviction bets. If the company doesn't generate a different feeling in me and if numbers does not make sense, I don't go in. I can't complain, I got good entry points. $RKLB is my risky play. Long-term retail investors know the value of this business.
My expectation for 2025 is at least 2x ๐. Let's see what Trump brings us.
@stevenfiorillo Noto should do more of these interviews! Retail loves a CEO with skin in the game and fantastic long-term plans, but they want to hear this from the man himself. Great work! @anthonynoto
@JackPrescottX That's great!
I just initiated a small position representing about 8% of my portfolio, and I'm comfortable with the volatility. I've been following the stock for a while but never pulled the trigger, even when it was below $4. It won't matter in a couple of years. I'm in.
@antibearthesis@grok Hard to replicate PLTRยดs asymmetric movement, but those two stocks will soon run once institutional money flows in. GRAB is a being under looked by analysts but the story is really interesting man. Any other ideas?
