Security comes from protocol design, not programming language.
Bitcoin uses ECDSA for signing and SHA-256 for hashing - neither is designed for messaging confidentiality or forward secrecy.
Without a zero-trust architecture, even encrypted platforms can give users a false sense of privacy.
I hope XChat truly moves beyond the limitations of today’s mainstream players.

Fact that you got behind cloudflare doesn’t mean you covered your a<pp>. There are tools that show your real address… unless you took care about it, hopefully. + you’ve exposed all your traffic to <cloudflare_like_or_whatever>…
