@BiggieAtx@burgeoisiee The EU is still figuring out vehicle safety, which is exactly why the US has about 3 times more road deaths per capita and the gap is still increasing.
@Vidic_Utd@szkrszkr@kingsofjdm The fact that they ended up being more affordable than prestige brands like Lamborghini and Ferrari doesn't mean that the purpose of the cars was to be cheap. Do you stuggle with reading comprehension?
@nikicaga I mean Novi Sad wasn't a large city in 1917 and had a Hungarian plurality according to the 1910 census despite it's history as a Serbian cultural hub.
@nafoinfrance@magyarpeterMP There are already Ukrainian language elementary and secondary schools, as well as university programs. The community also has a special mechanism for parliamentary representation in Hungary.
@TaniaDtribeiro@sambbury I also have slight gyno, and wanted to get surgery up until i looked at it's subreddit and realized that (with all due respect) 70% of results looked like shit
@35ofabrain@ninavzn@Slumdog_Milly@KisseFin In eastern europe / balkans a person living on an average post tax monthly salary of €1000 would have only made about €720k in 60 years of work, so there you could technically retire and live a pretty good life
@GwenSaren1@Swai_Guy@216thinker@biLieb67 "Eastern" automakers have been making automatics since the inception of their brands. Their buyers just preferred manual because early autos (including americans) were dogshit. They were heavier, slower, jittery, unreliable, more expensive to repair and got worse fuel economy.
@Swai_Guy@216thinker@biLieb67 Because we are not talking about the US. The original video she quoted makes no mention of any country, just shows general tips. Then she comes and says "well in my little bubble it makes no sense", while it does for everywhere outside that bubble. That is the self centered part.
@216thinker@TheWysestone Are you aware that all 8 billion people have their own separate consciousness and free will, and thus can have different preferances? If you prefer to drive an automatic, cool. Then mind your own business and stop berating people because their wishes differ from yours.
@Swai_Guy@216thinker@biLieb67 Its self centered in the sense that after being told by like 400 people, she still cant comprehend that outside the US its completely normal to drive a manual and isnt just done by "boomers who hate new technology and want to make their own lives harder"
@ZhenDeRen@nikicaga Momentum has survived dropping out of parliament before, and if they do so again, i do think the people wont forget who was here to actually make a change instead of purely for furthering their personal interests. Some other parties like DK can keep disintegrating on their own.
@ZhenDeRen@nikicaga Liberals like the Momentum Movement were the first ones to voluntarily step back, and despite knowing that not only do they stand to gain nothing, they will also lose their current mandates, but they still actively campaigned across half the country for Tisza till the last day.
