My name is Gbolahan Olaniyi, a survivor of banditry. I write to you with deep humility and hope, using this rare privilege to seek your kind support in a time of great need.

My family has been through a painful and life-altering experience. My mother was forced to pay a ransom of ₦17 million just to secure our safety. Since then, the burden of this debt has weighed heavily on her, both emotionally and financially. Despite her strength and resilience, it has not been easy for us to recover.

So far, we have received ₦495,000 in donations on X, ₦1,200,000 through Instagram (thanks to Daddy Freeze), and my mum and I have managed to repay ₦400,000 ourselves.
