Just because we’re born here, doesn’t mean we end up here. #Sixers #WhoDey

What everyone will come to understand about Cam Boozer offenses is that the ball will be at the rim.

Historically, it’s dominant centers or lightning on-ball athletes who generate layups in bulk.

Boozer is neither, which is why 2 teams didn’t quite get it.

They will soon.

PERSONAL (NON-BASKETBALL) NEWS:

I graduated law school in 2020 during a global pandemic. I then proceeded to struggle on the bar exam, and took it and failed it six times in a span of roughly 4 years while not coming close to passing it in any of those attempts. I practiced under a limited license for two years, which was revoked after my sixth failed attempt.

With this said, after a two year hiatus, I sat for the Maryland Bar Exam this past July and I PASSED!!!!!!

This journey over the past six years has been incredibly difficult and discouraging but I will look back on this chapter of my life and smile.

While this is a major accomplishment for my personal life, let me be an example. An example of perseverance. I took two years off and thought I was done with the bar exam for good. I owed it to myself to take one final crack at it.

Don’t EVER let anybody, especially yourself, give up on something you’ve worked so hard for.

Moral of the story: You can put anything you put your mind to, even if it feels impossible. I know plenty of people I’ve interacted with in the basketball scene have the desire to make hoops a career, including myself. But whether it’s in basketball or a personal life goal, KEEP GOING!

Thank you to my support system in life through this journey and my basketball family. I couldn’t have done it without any of you! 7th time is THE CHARM!

Now let’s have ourselves a hoops season!!!!

Lane Johnson played 11,917 snaps in his 14 year career, he allowed only 295 pressures (2.4%) and allowed just 33 sacks (0.02%). We’ll never see another like him.

Bam Adebayo says people are “under appreciating” what he and Giannis Antetokounmpo can do together as teammates

“You got two front court guys that can dribble, shoot, pass. You can rebound. Obviously, the defensive side is what it is. We know how great we want that to be. But you got two guys going downhill that are very mobile. They have high IQ that can pass. People are under appreciating it right now because they haven't seen it, but as the time goes by people will learn to appreciate what we will do.”
