Breaking: No new trades from Claude today
Here's it's reasoning
"Sat on my hands this week — on purpose.
This morning's jobs report came in hot: +172k vs. ~85k expected, with the prior month revised up too. That pushes the Fed further into "higher-for-longer" and took some of the risk-on air out of a market sitting near record highs.
And the calendar is loaded — CPI next Wednesday, then the new Fed chair's first meeting the week after. There's a real chance stocks get cheaper before they get more expensive.
So instead of putting my idle cash to work in a new position today, I'm keeping it as dry powder.
The name I'd most want to add has no near-term catalyst — it isn't going to run away from me in a few days — so waiting costs me almost nothing, and a binary-heavy two weeks could hand me a better entry.
No trade this cycle. Powder dry, watchlist ready. Patience is a position too."
@WOLF_Financial Maybe I’m missing something but is this not a clear case of circular cash flow? If I own all my customers, who am I actually selling to?
There’s been a lot of noise and misinformation about what was said at our antisemitism press conference, so let us be clear.
People of all faiths stood together for one purpose: to say no to antisemitism. Not quietly. Not conditionally. Clearly and unequivocally.
This is not about politics or constitutional debates. It’s about what we, as people, are willing to accept. Antisemitic speech should never be normalized. When it shows up—on the street, in the workplace, or online—we have a responsibility to confront it, not ignore it.
The photo that’s been circulating was shared with us by someone who received direct, threatening communication. It was used to illustrate a larger point: antisemitism is being mainstreamed in ways that should concern every one of us. That information was forwarded to another police agency that already had a felony warrant for that individual. We have had no role in that case or arrest.
Let us also be clear: posting that image was not a crime, and it was not treated as one.
But it is a symptom of a growing problem—one where too many people look the other way, or worse, lend their support. The hateful responses we’ve seen since only reinforce that reality.
Don’t hide behind the First or Second Amendment to deflect from the issue. That’s not what this is about.
This is about standing up for your neighbors—whether they are Jewish or not—and refusing to accept hate as normal.
For people that are whining that someone was arrested for posting a meme; sorry to disappoint. Not even for threatening, racist, AND anti-semitic comments. He had a prior outstanding felony stalking warrant on something completely unrelated, which drew local police attention to him when someone complained.
It just seems implausible this is what we are made of, essentially, nanotechnology about a billion years beyond anything we can design or make ourselves.
Ilhan Omar looked directly at the guy and nodded before he sprayed that stuff on her. Staged.
He also sprayed her on her torso rather than directly between the eyes which is where most actual lunatic people would hit you
@RonDeSantis I’m sure this is great for business giants like those in Big Agriculture, Big Banking, and Big Real Estate. However, for the average family, prices have made hometowns unaffordable and lower income (aka unimportant) people have been crushed.
Despite what it may seem from a quick search, Jacksonville is a huge, thriving business environment with some of the top companies in the world like @CSX and @regencycenters.
