This is very concerning news. Amina Seck is an incredible athlete who came to the states from Senegal to play the game she loves and get a higher education.

I had the chance to call a game of hers last season. She was Kentucky State’s lead scorer last season. Her coach and team thinks the world of her. She’s a great kid and does not deserve this.

I’m asking all HBCU alums, any women’s basketball personnel/fans, & anyone with a platform to please share this story and bring Amina home safely. She needs medical attention and surgery ASAP.

No human should ever have to go through this!

Hey! Know any May college grads who are looking for an SID/Athletics Comms internship? I’ve had great interns who have gone on to do great things (heck even 2 of them wanted to be my full-time assistant)🫡. We’re good people. Reach out with questions!

Will Wade, who wants to leave NC State after a year, is allowed to do this. That’s just the reality, whether you agree or not. Also, a 19-year-old athlete, who wants to leave after a year and go to a place where they feel comfortable, can do it, too. Don’t tell me it’s different.
