@OedipasKvass For sure an opinion is all good but to basically see the majority of his fiction as mid to bad but still commit to reading thousands and thousands of pages of it is just a wild prospect. I don’t need to read all of Wheel of Time to know it’s not for me
@TheLuisPanini Yes! flipped through a little in library, but on first glance I was worried it was just another thoroughgoing bio a la Ellmann (which I loved, but read very recently, so not ready to read something like it again on the same person). I also love Cixous, will find a copy.
@maxdaniellawton With all the hype around this book really thought someone had found a lost prose work of Joseph Brodsky's. What's the pull here, aside from the length? Seems like Brodsky is one of those post 60s experimenters that not even FC2 fucked with.
