I feel like it’s finally safe to say this out loud: The COVID era was a time of staggering overreach and repeated, official betrayal. They took our freedom, our livelihoods, and our trust, and no one has answered for it.

We were forced into isolation, fueling a massive psychological crisis. Beaches, parks, and trails where transmission was virtually impossible were closed, ignoring the crucial role of sunlight and Vitamin D for immune function.

The government and employers forced vaccine mandates, making millions choose between a medical treatment lacking long-term safety data and their ability to feed their families. Meanwhile, pharmaceutical companies were granted total immunity from liability.

If you had a severe vaccine reaction, you were on your own. When people tried to share these stories of big tech silenced them and deleted their accounts.

The architects of these policies, like Dr. Fauci, shifted goalposts constantly. He received a preemptive presidential pardon from Joe Biden, and when recently questioned by Congress, pleaded the Fifth Amendment 111 times.

The biggest failure? We knew early on that metabolic dysfunction was a massive risk factor for severe COVID. Yet public health officials stayed completely silent on the importance of quality food, exercise, and true metabolic resilience.

Instagram deleted my account in 2021 for pointing all of these things out. YouTube deleted multiple videos on these topics.

We all lost something during those years. Whether it was someone you loved, your job, your sovereignty, or your health... I am truly sorry for your loss.

An armed man rips a mother’s keys away and jumps into her car with her baby still inside, right outside a Chick-fil-A. A employee named Mykel Gordon hears her screaming, sprints out mid-shift, drags the guy out of the vehicle, and wrestles him to the pavement, taking punches to the face the whole time and refusing to let go until help arrived.

That’s not just doing his job, that’s putting his own body on the line for a total stranger and her baby in the span of seconds.

Would you have run toward that, or is that a different kind of instinct most people don’t have?

In 1964, Anthony Hopkins composed a beautiful waltz called And the Waltz Goes On. It was never performed, and over time the sheet music was forgotten.

Nearly 50 years later, his wife found the music and sent it to conductor André Rieu, who arranged for it to be performed in Vienna in 2011.

Imagine spending decades believing something you created would never be heard... then sitting in the audience as it comes to life for the very first time.

It's a reminder that not every dream happens when we want it to. Sometimes life has its own timing.

Andrew’s pioneering research to better understand liquid methane and oxygen explosions is helping enable the next generation of rockets that will return Americans to the Moon, establish a sustained U.S. presence on the lunar surface, and prepare us for Mars.

America’s greatest achievements in space are built by extraordinary people whose work often happens behind the scenes. Andrew’s contributions will help shape the future of exploration for years to come.

Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Andrew, and thank you for your contributions to NASA’s mission and America’s future in space.
