@TheDavidVinc Mario RPG remake, DQ7 Reimagined, and DQ11 all make me want a 3D remake. It should also come with the original 2D version bundled together.
I put my pixel art on a shirt and it turned out better than I imagined.

@KellyUlleanne Thanks! It's print-on-demand from Printful. I'm looking into other options, but everything they've printed for me has turned out amazing. I've had this idea of pixel-character shirts for a while, and I finally decided to go through with it.
Most of the turn based FF games after FF10 are either sequels, spin offs, AA, chibi, or have new battle systems (gambits/paradigms).
None of this is negative or bad, but do they even have evidence that a turn based AAA FF would sell poorly today?
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi recently shared his thoughts on the future of RPG combat systems
He said that games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 “may have been inevitable” as newer players increasingly prefer real-time gameplay over traditional turn-based combat.
According to Hamaguchi, many younger players grew up with fast-paced action games and online multiplayer titles, which has changed expectations for modern RPGs.
As a result, more developers are moving toward action-focused combat systems that feel faster and more interactive.
At the same time, he made it clear that turn-based RPGs are not disappearing.
