Meta scans every ad you run before a single human sees it. Fail that, and your ad never gets shown.
People aren't scrolling to buy stuff or watch ads. only marketers think that way.
Everyone else just wanna have a good time or zone out. And meta filters ads to protect that user experience.
Your creative strategy either tells meta you're one of the good ones... or it doesn't.
Here's 3 checks to see if your ads got a shot:
1) do your customers care about this ad?
As Steven Pressfield says "Nobody wants to read your sht."
You gotta look at the ad from the customer's eyes. See if they care.
Make it interesting, different, new. Stay on top of threads and comments to know what they're actually talking about
Kick off with a sticky hook to make them give a sh*t. Otherwise, they'll scroll on.
2) Are we exploring broadly enough?
if your ad looks like the last five, meta won't bother showing it.
Explore different ideas and formats - here's a few:
Statics: Handwritten/Note, Screenshot, Comment/Review, Product Shot, Before&after, Trendy/meme
Video: Talking Head, Screen Recording, Animation, Faceless B-roll, UGC, Podcast clip, unboxing, Transformation, Lifestyle
And alot more out there...
3) Are we pumping out volume?
Got this from my mentor who's managed hundreds of ad accounts:
small/medium brands run 10-25
effective brands - 50
...and some live accounts I checked just now:
ARMRA has ~200
Rosabella has ~1400
RYZE has ~5k
That may seem like alot but that's something to build towards.
Every ad is another roll of the dice. And a better chance at the jackpot.

The 5 levels of creative diversity:
Level 1: Same ad, new thumbnail
โ Not diversity. Cosmetics.
Level 2: Same script, new creator
โ Slight lift. Same message underneath.
Level 3: Same angle, new format
โ Now you're reaching new pockets.
Level 4: New angle, same audience
โ A different reason to care. Real diversity.
Level 5: New awareness level entirely
โ You just unlocked a market you weren't speaking to.
Most brands live at Level 1-2 and wonder why spend won't scale.
The unlock is at 4 and 5.
Answer these questions and your brand becomes the answer:
โWhatโs happening to me?โ
โ โHow do people fix this?โ
โ โWho really gets someone like me?โ
โ โOkayโฆ which product fits everything Iโve just learned?โ
Nail the first three and the fourth answers itself.
Which question do you see brands missing most?
The most straightforward way to get luckier in life is to raise your standards and be more ambitious about who you could be, and pay the price to get there.
