I had my money held for over one full year by ePayments due to the same "money laundering investigation". I hope it will not be your case, @levelsio. 🤞
Okay I guess it's not about interest, more probably it's about this and they have to be extra careful now
I'd just appreciate a reason in the interface

Nope, Claude Code sucks battery regardless, using it on my laptop I'd have to charge it after 3 hours!
I only use Claude Code on VPS via Termius SSH now
Now I only need to charge my MacBook daily, and I can close my MacBook whenever
Nice benefits of AI coding on the server!
Fable 5 is state-of-the-art on nearly all tested benchmarks, with exceptional performance in software engineering, knowledge work, scientific research, and vision.
The longer and more complex the task, the larger Fable 5’s lead over our other models.
My 2025 Tesla Y is a great car
I never had a car before so don't trust me but I did ride a lot of Teslas before in Uber, specifically Tesla 3 and I didn't like it cause it felt cheap and shaky and I'd get car sick (I never get car sick)
Not the 2025 Tesla Y, even as a passenger I don't get car sick, it feels smooth, it doesn't feel cheap
Most of all my friends with petrol cars spend a lot of time in garages, meanwhile we've never
Only when it delivered, it showed an error that the cameras did not calibrate, we brought it to the garage and a cable was loose during production and they fixed it and since then it just works
I like driving it because I know the safety score is good so if something happens there's good odds we survive it as it's built well
Only thing I don't like is that sometimes it does automatic phantom breaking on the highway in Portugal, that's extremely dangerous because if someone is behind you, they might hit you, I think it's because in EU we still run on the old software and not FSD yet (except NL recently), also you do need to clean the cameras regularly but also there's lots of construction dust near us so that doesn't help
So yeah I like it a lot, it's a car that's not annoying, never breaks, doesn't need maintenance
Well, that's a first.
An enterpreneur who I met at a cafe a while back and was a nice guy and said we'd follow up perhaps just sent me an AI-genereated pitch.
This wiped out the personal connection I had in my mind with this person.
How do people not realize AI does this?
I believe most of them are personal/internal tools. This does not mean that in a while they could potentially become public products. Maybe shrinking the bureaucracy dealing with opening a "digital" company would also help in this regard.
I think the challenge is that everyone can now build apps
But
1) almost nobody has distribution (like an audience), or
2) the money to pay for distribution (ads or UGC), or
3) the creative genius to get distribution for free (classically called guerilla marketing)
Wrote a whole case study about how @levelsio got lucky
- 108 projects shipped. 8 became lasting businesses
- 175,000 posts on X since 2013. About 37 a day. Every day
- His own hit rate: 5%. The other 95% flopped or never tried to earn
- 17 years between his first win and his latest
Very lucky guy

Complaining about things is one, but fixing them myself is another
So I added a [ 🗽 Not woke ] filter to https://t.co/kSbsCmuvBO
"woke" is a bit of a cringe term now, but calling it "Not ESG" would be too difficult
I scraped ALL hotel chains and sites for stuff like "climate change", "sustainability", "ESG", "carbon neutral" and tagged all of them
So now you can AVOID hotels that:
- limit your AC to 25C/77F (common in Europe)
- skip cleaning you room altogether (last 2 hotels I stay in Europe now)
- have no amenities (again I just stayed in them), and other useless stuff that does nothing to save the world at all
- reduce shower pressure to save water so you can't clean yourself
- charge you extra for your CO2 emissions every day you stay (???)
In fact all of this does the direct opposite of make the world better: it makes everyone hate their stay, sweat and have bad sleep, and be grumpy and unproductive all day
Avoid them with my site Hotelist and make the world better! :D
@marclou I think AI is good at UI, and maybe taht's because I don't do UI, but mostly backend. So, being strongly opinionated for the backend are, I think that's why I am so picky for the AI's output. As for the UI - I ask, it delivers, I check, usually it looks good so I'm happy ✅
