@SadButMadLad@____Foxtrot____ It has righted a wrong that the IOPC have used for years to go after officers even following a not guilty verdict at court. I don't see how that favours the police. Just makes the playing field level.
It took this case to highlight the problem sufficiently.

@BBCNews Another hopelessly anti-police statement from @MayorofLondon No thought for the officer involved, who has not been proved to have done anything wrong. He should be leading by example and waiting for the process to conclude, before commenting in that way
@BBCNews Most public sector employees have had very little since 2008. U can't just keep cutting in real terms! Where does it end? There was the financial crisis, then covid, now war in Ukraine. There always an excuse not to pay (except MP's). Not surprised various sectors are striking.
