@ramenslurperr@oneandonlyditto@fartpog My family’s been here since the territorial days and I definitely soften my T’s or replace it with a soft-stop. However I don’t think my parents do that, so perhaps it’s a generational thing?
@oneandonlyditto@fartpog Same here. I feel like a good sign that someone grew up in Western Washington is whether or not they soften (or don’t pronounce) the “T” sound when it’s not the first or last letter of a word. Even in just saying “Seattle”
@seattleiscrazy@ZeroCool01101 Those aren’t high end homes, they’re normal homes. Bellingham is facing many of the same pressures as Seattle is when it comes to cost of housing, hence the high home prices
