Note to educators in mainstream

When working with Autistic children, your relationship with them is EVERYTHING.

Not social skills training, not now and next boards, not laminated sheets.

Your relationship, letting them know they are 'safe' in your class, can be the difference

Some Photographers still need to understand: other Photographers aren’t a threat to you. See them as likeminded people and a chance to help you/learn from. Lift them up, help them and be kind. I learned this as a kid already: be kind to others, if you expect kindness in return.
