If you can't drive at 17/18 then you're not a good driver and you'll have the same problem learning at 21. Being able to take your mates to places is an essential part of your social life if you're not from a city.
a no-brainer if you want to save lives. This already happens in other countries

I voted for Starmer during the leadership election. He lied about everything he stood for. You don't have to defend the people you voted for if they don't do the things that made you vote for them. It doesn't make you stupid to admit you were conned by a professional con artist.
In case anyone didnโt know this, Keir Starmer was elected as Labour leader with a pledge saying he would remove NHS private outsourcing. He quietly dropped the pledge in the Summer 2022 โฆ๐จ
Panathinaikos have decided to pay the entire amount of George Baldock's three-year contract to his wife to help raise their 1-year-old and child.
There is also a charity match for the Baldock family in 2025 planned to bring in additional income for the child.
That is truly unbelievable from them! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
'Red tape' is not a dirty word
Red tape is the rules that limit how much corporations exploit us and poison our only home
Red tape keeps us safe and I want more, not less
I don't think people understand just how bad it is that UK energy prices are still more than 40% higher than they should be.
It increases the cost of everything, every single thing you buy, every shop, theatre, restaurant.
The knock on effect is crippling, but nothing is done.
UK 2010: 29 billionaires and 35 food banks.
UK 2024: 165 billionaires and 2,800 food banks.
These statistics are not unrelated.
After 14 years of failed neoliberal free-market policies, under a succession of catastrophic Tory Governments, Britain is broken. ๐ฌ๐ง

Private schools โ which only 7% of children attend โ divert resources from the state school system, entrench inequality from childhood, and create and maintain privilege.
Taxpayers should not subsidise a two-tier education system.
Individuals and companies got better at extracting wealth and funnelling it upwards. Call it a fundamental flaw with capitalism or something else but that's what's wrong with western society.
How did we get from the 90โs to here?
People got along, nobody cared about race, life was affordable, entertainment wasnโt laced with agendas, wealth was something to aspire to not scoff at, and divisive politics hadnโt permeated everything.
The world was better. What happened?
ELON: WE DEFINITELY WENT TO THE MOON
โWe definitely went to the moon.
I swear.
We went to the moon several times.
I know in depth the technical designs of the rockets, the spacecraft, everything.
What went right, what went wrong.
It was a remarkable piece of technology, incredible piece of technology to go to the moon in 1969.
That was like reaching into the future and pulling the future forward dramatically.
And it was an important ideological battle with communism because they couldn't put a person on the moon, and capitalism could.โ
