@lindapickle @HomoSocialist As a radiographer You don’t always get the medical records, just a one sheet referral form. In my hospital every person admitted to theatres is asked the question and required to sign, just in case X-rays are required at any point of their pathway.

@richardlucas977 Rylans point may well be valid to some, however, the referrers of the X-rays & scans do not always complete the requests with all relevant clinical information-never mind full medical history and we don’t often get the ‘full set of notes’ just a small box for the Dr to write on.

@paullaity As a non-doctor healthcare professional, the learning in such cases always strikes so powerful with me,the fear that junior staff/hcps have about speaking out when they feel something isn’t right should b stamped out.Pts &relatives should also b listened too! Sorry for your loss.

@beaglebugle @AllisonPearson Also, We are still working closely with the local NHS for operations on people who are on long waiting lists and helping get them done sooner than waiting for the NHS to get through them all.

@little_pero @AllisonPearson Working in a private hospital, a lot of required ventilation equipment was shipped out to our local NHS hospital to give them extra resources.

@beaglebugle @AllisonPearson I also work in a private hospital and we carried out lots of work for the NHS, to name a few…MRI scans, urgent cancer ops, mammogram screening, gynae clinics, urology clinics all moved to us. We were used as a ‘green’ hospital to try to keep the most vulnerable safe.
