Lightcone impact markets induce much stronger hyperstition than prediction markets do
take a few examples
as the US president, knowing the exact consequences of your decisions on the stock market may greatly affect your decision making; explicitly knowing that if you authorize america joining the defensive war over taiwan, the sp500 will crash -20%
as a voter, seeing the exact consequences of the elections on your personal portfolio may very well tilt you to vote differently
as a federal reserve board member, knowing in advance the consequences of a 0 or 25 or 50 bps hike on the bond market may persuade you to choose differently
now replace “knowing the consequences” to “knowing the odds” in all those cases
prediction markets are hardly hyperstitious, as in they hardly affect reality itself
Lightcone does though. impact markets do. the world will never be the same.

hyperliquid
Fascinating concept here that I'd never considered but makes a ton of sense when you read it for the first time.
There aren't very many people trying to truly go 0 to 1 in crypto. It's in our best interest to support that ones that are.
Great work, @aradtski
