@FootieWriter That’s fair. I’m just putting a view forward that if he was a Norwich owned 20yo based on the performances this season, Im not sure he would start. (Assuming there is actually other players to replace that are not Ill/injured)
@FootieWriter So one game of supposed mismanagement has led to his performances both before and after? Happy to leave it at that but citing mismanagement of one game as an excuse for serval poor performances is a bit wide of the mark IMO.
@FootieWriter I didn’t realise that was him, but either way, I’m not sure that amounts to mismanagement. You could argue 1 game then, but what about the others? It doesn’t help that he came with such hype and gets compared to Skipp who made an comparatively astronomical impact.
@JackReeveTNC@TMuk_news I love the fact we don’t have a rich owner who has no affinity with the club. It’s rare to find a rich owner that is passionate. We are a self funded club, which although doesn’t appear beneficial now, it almost certainly will in the future. Long term success over short term gain
Win or lose (I REALLY hope we win!). Football has already come home. Fans of all ages, races & religions have come together to support @England. The spirit and mood of most of the nation has been lifted after a tough 18 months and that to me is what football coming home means!
@TWUdall Not to mention you’ve then got to judge what is an ‘advantage’ and bearing in mind the refs haven’t played the game and are hopeless at judging subjective things, it may open the door to some horrific decisions?
@TWUdall Where the attacker is 5m offside but doesn’t gain an advantage as he may be running towards his own goal. So would you say that’s not offside? If he’s not gained any advantage at all?
@TWUdall I don’t disagree. But I can’t think of a way where you’re going to split that up. For me, a head start is a head start. It’s an advantage however small it is. If you want to give the attacker an advantage to get more goals then yes let’s change it. But there will be scenarios...
@TWUdall Yeah can’t argue with that, I think the tweaking bit is easy. I agree with you, I like VAR but there’s some tweaking to do. TBH I like how black and white it is. You have to draw the line somewhere. Half a foot is quite a big difference in the 100m sprint...
